Program Leader
Volunteer Coordinator
General Description:
Responsible for volunteer recruitment, orientation, management, and
evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Recruit volunteers from a variety of resources and
locations.
- Schedule and conduct trainings for new volunteers.
- Train and manage program leaders.
- Create and manage schedules for volunteers at various
sites.
- Examine data, attendance, and survey data to evaluate
the volunteer program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and
Outlook.
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large
groups.
Other Details:
- 30 hrs. per week
- 12:30 - 6:30 (with flexibility)

Program Leader
General Description
Facillitate the learning and discovery of children grades K through 8th
in a leadership roll in the context of homework and programming.
Responsibilities:
- Engage children in effective and enjoyable lessons
- Implement program on a daily basis to help children
discover thematic learning
- Follow directions and expecations outlined in the
Employee Manual
- Follow Heart House rules and procedures
- Maintain discipline and routines in a classroom
context
- Consistent and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Experience with children is preferable
- Must commit to the schedule (see below)
Details:
- part time - 2:30 - 6:30 Monday through Thursday, and
12:30 - 6:30 on Fridays.
- Reports to Kelly Cushing
